Based in our central Glasgow office in the hustle and bustle of Nelson Mandala place! Surrounded by lots of fun eateries, bars and restaurants you will be working in a fun and vibrant location with excellent transport links.

Working together with a coordinated design team, you’ll help breathe life into our designs by creating structural design models and drawings. Our innovative and collaborative culture means that you’ll get to work with experts from across our business, and you’ll have the chance to put all the latest sustainable design techniques in to practice.

We’d love to hear from you if you are passionate about structural design, have a keen eye for detail and want to help shape the future of both our company and the built environment.

Although we’re happy to consider applicants with more or less experience, you’ll ideally have qualifications, experience or skills in the following areas:

• You’re educated to diploma level or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering with around five years’ practical experience

• You’ll be a whizz with AutoCAD and REVIT Structural, ideally with a minimum of two years in REVIT, post diploma

• You’re a dab-hand at producing General arrangement drawings for buildings and structures in all major materials

• You like to take an innovative and creative approach

• You’re happy working independently to tight deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on the budget and programme

Joining our team will give you:

• Competitive salary and benefits package with annual salary reviews

• 26 days holiday per year, rising to 31 days with loyalty days, plus bank holidays

• Hybrid working arrangements

• Fantastic training and development culture

• Access to mentoring support from industry experts

• Opportunity to play a key role in exciting and varied projects

• Fast-tracked career progression for the right candidates

To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter explaining why you’d be a great fit for our team to careers@watermangroup.com, or complete and submit the form below. All applications will be treated in confidence. Waterman is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity.
