If so, we want you to join our Building Services team in Nottingham!

Based in the heart of Nottingham, our office is situated next to the National Justice Museum and benefits from excellent transport links and nearby parking. Our welcoming and diverse team is working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Nottingham, across the UK and around the world.

From leading-edge arts and media facilities such as the Everyman Theatre and Confetti Institute of Creative Arts to major new student residential developments, we are supporting schemes across a huge range of sectors.

As an Electrical Engineer you will be involved in a range of projects from small site surveys through to multi-million-pound schemes, with a varied workload you will need to exhibit the autonomy to work individually as well as reporting to and having the support of the project Associate or Director and other team members. You will provide support as part of a team in delivering projects effectively, whilst maintaining technical performance standards.

To fulfil this role, you will need to be degree qualified, or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent), demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across a variety of sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.

Within Waterman we now carry out our projects in the 3D environment and are rolling out StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While a detailed knowledge of this software is not a essential (training will be provided) an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
